Merry Month of ParaPines Contest. Genderbend week.

EDIT: It is now Creatures and monsters week, submissions are open until the end of March! Since i haven't been super diligent with updating, submissions for any week will be accepted until the end of the month.

Throughout the month of March we will be having themed weeks! So, each week has a theme that you have to follow. Submissions will be accepted from the beginning of the week (Sunday) until the last day of the week (Saturday). The themes will be listed here and announced when the week is coming up.

How this is judged: Effort, technique, and originality. If your piece shows a lot of effort, good use of technique (of any medium), and the piece is fairly original you have a pretty good chance. Also, I’ll probably create a grade/judge sheet so I can make sure everything is judged consistently and fairly. If you want to see the grading sheet, I’ll show it to you.

Rules:
• This must be an original piece of yours. Meaning you didn’t use someone else’s line art or copy a drawing (references are perfectly okay, just know where the line crosses into copying).
• Unless otherwise stated, this is Norman/ Pines only.  This would include Dipper and/or Mabel. (Don’t worry other ships; you get your own week!)
• If your drawing is NSFW or 18+ you must provide a link to somewhere I can view it. Since I’m under 18, I can’t see this stuff on deviantart, but I don’t want to discriminate against those types of artists.
• You may use a past work of yours. However, it would be great if you created something new since the ParaPines fandom could always use some new fan art!
• You don’t have to participate every week.
• Any medium will be accepted. So whether it is drawn, written, cosplayed, etcetera, it will be accepted!
• Anyone can enter! Even if they aren’t on deviantart. If you know a friend who would be interested in this sort of thing they can defiantly take part in it and be eligible for winning.

Dates and Deadlines
• February 24th- Submissions for the first week are opened
• March 2nd- First week deadline
• March 9th- Second week deadline
• March 16th- Third week deadline
• March 23rd- Fourth week deadline
• March 30th- Fifth week deadline

Themes:
• Week 1: AUs or Alternate Universes. Any AU is fine, it can be a popular one or one you just made up. You will not be judged on the originality of the AU and no AU will be favored over another.
• Week 2: Genderbend. Dipper and/or Norman’s gender is changed to female for this week! (Sorry to all you writers, this may be a bit of a challenge).
• Week 3: Other ParaNorman/ Gravity Falls ships. Any ship that involves a crossover between ParaNorman and Gravity Falls is allowed. Norman/ Dipper will not be allowed for this week. However, Norman/ Mabel will be allowed (since there isn’t a whole lot of them).  
• Week 4: Death and Possession.
• Week 5: Creatures and monsters. Draw them as some sort of creature or monster. Not strictly scary, have fun with it.

Each week the theme will be announced. If any announcement happens to be late, the due date will be extended into the next week. (All start dates listed will not be changed.)

Benefits:
• If you win, your art will permanently stay in the featured category. For those of you who don’t know, art usually isn’t allowed in featured.
• The pride of winning and knowing you contributed to the ParaPines fandom
• I will send you a ParaPines button (like this: sozoartist.tumblr.com/post/392… but modified to be a button) if you’re okay with giving me your address. If your not, I can draw you something of your choice.

Winners:
The numbers of winners we have will depend on the amount of participants we have.
2-3 participants, 1 winner
4 participants, 2 winners
5 or more, 3 winners
To keep from cluttering your inboxes the winners will be listed at the end of March.
